Calling all foodies! We are foodies and you are too being that you are reading this letter and receiving this box. If you don’t like good food and good wine, well then you can just go on and see yourself out. We don’t understand your kind here. Now that we have cleared that up, let me introduce you to this month’s theme, A Day in San Sebastian. Arguably the food capital of the world, San Sebastian has one of the highest number of michelin stars per square metre and if you are sick of those, try a pintxos bar. San Sebastian food tour guide and pintxos bar extraordinaire explains that the pintxos bars “are the cool, younger siblings to the Michelin stars and offer ultimate flexibility; informal dining, bite-sized portions, low prices and the chance to switch at the turn of a heel from traditional to modern cuisine.” Count us in! Michelin stars are great, obviously, but the pintxos bar scene is more up our alley offering a casual vibe and a range of flavors to pair fun wines with. We had a lot of fun with this month’s theme and choosing these wines for you. They scream summer and make us want to throw a party… oh wait, we are throwing a party!
