  • 2019 Wonderland Project No. 9 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

This is the first vintage of No. 9 Napa Cabernet, and there’s a reason The French Laundry was first to pick it up. The palate is dense and complex, marked by a long and polished finish. Organic farming practices, unfined / unfiltered, and only 1,500 cases produced.

Cabernet Sauvignon is known for its high levels of acid and tannins, making well-made examples excellent candidates for long-term cellaring.

2017 Anomaly Vineyards Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2017 Anomaly Cabernet drills down on integrity and purity. This wine will continue to age beautifully over the next 10-20 years. Decant for an hour or two before enjoying. Produced using certified organic farming practices and only 1,000 cases made.

This isn’t one of Napa’s big names, yet this small producer flies under the radar and subtly graces the wine lists of the best restaurants in the nation including The French Laundry, PerSe and Rubicon. If you know, you know.

  • 2016 Chateau des Antonins Bordeaux Supérieur Rouge

This full-bodied blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 53% Merlot, and 2% Cabernet Franc is a classic representation of Bordeaux: subtle, seamless, and elegant. It has integrated tannins and a long, textured finish.

Most wines from Bordeaux are produced using blends, rather than one grape variety. Usually, the blends are dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot.
