Shaved Brussel Sprouts & Marcona Almonds

From the Club Argaux Fall Test Kitchen: Shaved Brussel Sprouts & Marcona Almonds Ingredients: (Serves 8)
    Brussel Sprouts 1 Lemon 1 Orange Marcona Almonds Cracked Black Pepper Olive Oil Dried Cranberries (optional)
Step 1 Zest the lemon and the orange. Step 2 Combine the olive oil with the juice of one lemon and one orange. Step 3 Thinly shave the brussel sprouts into a large bowl with a mandolin. Step 4 Throw the almonds into a food processor and pulse until they are finely chopped while still leaving a bit of texture. Step 5 Dress the brussel sprouts with the olive oil and citrus mixture. Step 6 Toss until the sprouts are coated with the dressing. You can let the oil marinade the sprouts for an hour or so before serving. Step 7 When ready to serve, toss the almonds, citrus zest and cranberries with the brussel sprouts. Enjoy! [gallery columns="4" size="medium" ids="54989,54986,54987,54990"]
