Argaux's home base in Costa Mesa is a beautifully designed tasting room with a warm, intimate atmosphere — the kind of space that makes guests feel like they've been let in on something special.
We host private celebrations, corporate gatherings, wine education classes, member events, and more. The venue is flexible, elegantly appointed, and designed to feel personal rather than formal.
Events we host here include engagement parties, bridal showers, birthday celebrations, anniversary dinners, client appreciation evenings, team building tastings, holiday gatherings, wine workshops, and monthly wine classes.
We also travel to you — offsite hosting is available at your office, home, or any location that makes sense for your group.

What kinds of events does Argaux design?
We design a wide range of sommelier-led wine experiences — corporate team building tastings, client entertainment dinners, virtual tasting events, private celebrations, bridal showers, birthday dinners, monthly wine education classes, and members-only events. If it involves wine and people you care about, we can build something around it.
Do you host events at your Costa Mesa venue?
Yes — our Costa Mesa tasting room is available for private events and is the home base for our monthly wine classes and member events. The space is intimate, beautifully appointed, and designed to feel personal rather than formal. We also travel to you: offsite hosting is available at your office, home, or any location of your choice.
How does a virtual wine tasting work?
Curated wine kits are shipped directly to each participant before the event. On the day of, a sommelier leads the group through a live, guided tasting experience — walking everyone through the wines, sharing the stories behind each selection, and creating a genuine sense of shared occasion even across distance. Virtual tastings are available nationwide and are a popular option for remote teams and distributed client lists.
Is there a guest minimum for private events?
Guest minimums vary depending on the type of experience and format. We work with intimate groups as small as 6 and have hosted corporate tastings for 250 or more. The best first step is to tell us about your group and occasion — we'll recommend the right format and let you know what to expect.
Can Argaux come to us?
Absolutely. While our Costa Mesa venue is a wonderful setting, many of our most memorable experiences happen offsite. We bring everything needed to host a sommelier-led tasting at your office, home, or event venue. Our service area includes Orange County and greater Los Angeles, with virtual experiences available nationwide.
Do you offer custom wine experiences for corporate events?
Yes — and custom is really the only way we work. We don't offer preset packages because no two groups or occasions are the same. Tell us about your team, your goals, and the experience you want to create, and we'll design something tailored to your people and your moment. Corporate events can include branded elements, custom wine selections, food pairings, and dedicated sommelier hosting.
How far in advance should I book?
For most events, we recommend reaching out 3–6 weeks in advance to allow time for wine curation, kit preparation, and shipping coordination. For large corporate programs or events requiring nationwide kit delivery, earlier planning is always helpful. That said, we do our best to accommodate shorter timelines — get in touch and we'll let you know what's possible.
What are Argaux's monthly wine classes?
We host ongoing wine education classes at our Costa Mesa venue — approachable, guided evenings designed around a theme, region, or varietal. They're relaxed, educational, and genuinely fun, whether you're new to wine or simply curious to learn more. Tickets are available through our upcoming events calendar. Members of Club Argaux receive priority access and exclusive member-only event invitations throughout the year.
