Made by one of Burgundy's most exciting young domaines, this Santenay Blanc is ideal for anyone who loves well-made white Burgundy with a balance of richness and finesse. Brothers Marc and Alexandre Bachelet source it from four parcels of 30+ year old vines on very chalky soils, mostly from Les Bras, which sits right next to their Maranges Premier Cru La Fussière. Expect concentrated lemon and apple with a touch of vanilla and baking spice, kept fresh and clean by bright acidity. Enjoy with grilled scallops, lobster, roasted chicken, creamy pasta dishes, and soft cheeses like Brie or goat cheese.
Practicing organic farming, hand-harvested 30+ year-old vines, native yeast fermentation, 12 months in 350-liter barrels (20% new) and 6 months in tank.
