Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping with Argaux. We take great care in packaging and shipping every order so your wine and gifts arrive safely and beautifully presented.
Alcohol Shipping Requirements
By purchasing wine from Argaux, you confirm that you and the recipient are at least 21 years of age. An adult signature from someone 21+ is required upon delivery for all wine shipments, and valid government-issued ID may be required.
Argaux ships wine only to states where it is legally permitted.
All alcohol sales are made in compliance with applicable state laws and are void where prohibited.
Where We Ship
Argaux currently ships within the United States only and does not ship internationally.
Due to alcohol shipping laws, Argaux currently cannot ship wine to:
• Utah
• Michigan
• Mississippi
• Alabama
• Arkansas
We also cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.
Processing & Transit Times
Orders are typically dispatched within 2–3 business days after payment is processed.
Domestic shipments are generally in transit for 2–7 business days depending on destination and shipping method selected.
Please note:
• TX, IL, and NJ shipments may have mandatory holding periods of up to 7 business days, excluding weekends, before release for final delivery
• Holiday shipments during November, December, and January may experience carrier delays of up to two weeks
• Ground shipments ordered after December 12 are not guaranteed for Christmas delivery
Corporate gifting orders, custom gifts, event-related shipments, large-scale projects, and pre-orders may require additional processing time.
Shipping Costs
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, destination, and shipping method selected.
Multi-ship orders, expedited shipping requests, temperature-controlled shipping, and specialty delivery coordination may require additional fees.
Expedited Shipping
Expedited shipping options may be available at checkout for an additional fee. If expedited options are unavailable online, please contact logistics@argaux.com for assistance.
Weather Holds & Temperature-Controlled Shipping
To help protect wine quality, Argaux may temporarily delay shipments during periods of extreme heat or cold.
We are happy to hold orders during extreme temperatures at no additional cost until weather conditions are safer for wine shipping.
During warmer months or severe weather conditions, Argaux may recommend expedited shipping or temperature-controlled shipping methods for an additional fee.
Argaux is not responsible for damage caused by extreme weather conditions, including heat exposure or freezing temperatures, once a shipment has been released for delivery. Customers who decline recommended weather holds, temperature-controlled shipping, or expedited shipping options assume responsibility for weather-related damage that may occur in transit.
Tracking Information
Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be emailed to the address provided at checkout.
Please monitor tracking closely, as adult signature is required for all wine deliveries.
Incorrect Addresses, Failed Deliveries & Returned Packages
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and ensuring an eligible recipient is available to sign for delivery.
Orders abandoned, refused, undeliverable, or returned after carrier delivery attempts are not eligible for refund.
Due to alcohol shipping regulations, returned wine shipments may not be eligible for resale, reshipment, or refund.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.
If a package is returned to Argaux due to:
• an incorrect or incomplete address
• failed delivery attempts
• inability to contact the recipient
• recipient unavailability
• refusal of delivery
• business closure or relocation
• an expired carrier hold or missed delivery window
the customer will be notified.
We are happy to reship the package to the original recipient or a new address. Additional reshipment fees will apply and are the responsibility of the customer.
Argaux is not responsible for delays, losses, or delivery issues resulting from inaccurate shipping information provided at checkout.
Address Changes
If you need to update a shipping address before your order ships, please contact logistics@argaux.com as soon as possible.
Once an order is in transit, carriers may limit address changes or rerouting requests.
Damaged, Lost, or Delayed Shipments
Argaux is not responsible for packages lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged after confirmed delivery by the shipping carrier.
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact logistics@argaux.com within 48 hours of delivery and include:
• your order number
• photos of the package and products
• a brief description of the issue
Argaux will work with the shipping carrier to determine the appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, store credit, or other accommodation at our discretion.
Argaux is not responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery.
Wine is a natural agricultural product. Variations in color, sediment, label condition, vintage, and flavor profile may occur and do not necessarily indicate the wine is flawed or damaged.
Minor seepage, cork variation, label wear, or sediment may occur during normal aging and transit and are not automatically considered defects eligible for replacement, refund, or credit.
Local Delivery & Event Orders
Local delivery or hand-delivery options may be available for select orders, corporate gifting projects, and private events in certain regions.
Large gifting projects and event-related shipments may require separate delivery coordination and timelines.
