This Chardonnay is a total CA babe. It’s vibrant and fresh with a silky palate and touch of sea salt on the finish. In short, it’s an all-around crowd pleaser.
Organic farming practices and only 90 cases produced.
For those who love Chablis, you know that ‘Les Clos’ is the emblematic, top Grand Cru of Chablis. The 50+ year old vines sit on a steep slope and enjoy the perfect sun exposure which provides ideal ripening conditions. 2021 for Chablis is adamantly old-school in its tension and inscrutably mineral depths. If you had to describe the vintage in one word it would be ‘aristocratic.’
Organic farming practices, hand-harvested, native yeast fermentation in 80% stainless steel tanks, 20% new oak and aged in 3-4 year old barrels.
Although lesser known than its Pinot Gris / Grigio and Pinot Noir relatives, make no mistake—high-quality expressions of Pinot Blanc are absolutely worth seeking out (especially for fans of German wines). This wine is LIGHTS OUT and the perfect white for Thanksgiving.
Sustainable and dry-farmed vineyards (Fair’n Green certified), native yeast fermentation, minimal intervention and a family-owned estate.
Pedro Méndez doesn’t yet have the world’s attention, but he’s well represented in Spain’s top restaurants, including dozens of Michelin-starred spots throughout the country, including País Vasco’s three-star Arzak. His micro-production of ancient-vine Albariño is a treat to say the least and we’ll take what we can get.
