Evening Land Vineyards is the Oregon-based brainchild of Sashi Moorman and Raj Parr, two of California’s most revered winemakers. Chardonnays from this specific area of Oregon are frequently compared to those of Burgundy, and this slightly reductive, incredibly complex bottling is no exception!
Organic and practicing biodynamic farming methods, LIVE certified, dry farmed, and only 695 cases produced.
If you like Sancerre, try this! Same grape, same winemaking methods, just from a neighboring village. It is bright and pure with a laser beam of citrus fruit and minerality. Perfect spring and summer sipper!
Certified organic farming practices, hand-harvested, native yeast fermentation, woman-winemaker and about 5,000 cases produced annually.
Enjoy this wine with goat cheese, sushi, ceviche or this Cilantro Lime Chicken Salad!
This rustic Pinot Noir hails from a premier cru climat just west of Gevrey-Chambertin. The palate is medium-bodied with rich and concentrated flavors, nice acidity, and integrated tannins. Aged for 19 months in barrel (50% new oak).
Like all of Burguet’s wines, this bottle is produced from organic (converting to biodynamic) fruit, native yeasts, and is bottled unfined / unfiltered. Only 50 cases produced.
Sancerre, Gruner Veltliner, Vermentino lovers – This one’s for you. Grown on the volcanic island of Ischia, this wine quite literally tastes like the azure waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Our director of imports enjoyed this wine for the first time with a large bowl of pasta alla vongole after an ocean dip. “The salty sea still lingering on my lips and this light, crisp wine on that hot day was unparalleled.”
Organic farming practices, hand-harvested, native yeast fermentation, minimal intervention winemaking and only 400 cases produced.
