This rustic Pinot Noir hails from a premier cru climat just west of Gevrey-Chambertin. The palate is medium-bodied with rich and concentrated flavors, nice acidity, and integrated tannins. Aged for 19 months in barrel (50% new oak).
Like all of Burguet’s wines, this bottle is produced from organic (converting to biodynamic) fruit, native yeasts, and is bottled unfined / unfiltered. Only 50 cases produced.
This Grand Cru Champagne is very complex, deep, and strikes the perfect balance between ripe fruit and toasty, buttered brioche flavors. It is autolytic and well developed with a long, mineral-driven finish.
Organic and biodynamic farming practices, native yeast fermentation, unfined/unfiltered, vegan-friendly, and less than 2,000 cases made.
Pedro Méndez doesn’t yet have the world’s attention, but he’s well represented in Spain’s top restaurants, including dozens of Michelin-starred spots throughout the country, including País Vasco’s three-star Arzak. His micro-production of ancient-vine Albariño is a treat to say the least and we’ll take what we can get.
Sustainable farming practices and less than 300 cases produced annually
This is Margaux’s (co-founder) all-time favorite wine! Calling all Sancerre, Chablis, and Albariño drinkers! This wine is for you.
Organic farming practices, woman-winemaker, and only 1,833 cases produced.
