This is an incredible grower Champagne from Pascal and Catherine Mazet. 60% of this wine is from the 2014 vintage as they age their wines for a minimum 5 years before release. It has depth, complexity and elegance – I am as completely smitten with this bottle of bottles.

This wine comes from the small country of Liechtenstein, located in the Alps between Switzerland and Austria. It is the 6th smallest country in the world and the grapes for this wine come from royal vineyards owned by the Princely House of Liechtenstein. It is a cystalline pure, dry and crisp white wine that is incredibly food-friendly.
The ‘Les Champeaux’ premier cru vineyard was planted in 1987 on the northern edge of Gevrey-Chambertin. It’s located high up on the slope with south-east facing exposure which allows for slow and steady ripening. The result is a wine with great purity, structure and incredibly silky tannins.
