From the steep, terraced vineyards of Varigotti on the Ligurian coast, Punta Crena’s Mataòssu is a rare gem. The Ruffino family has farmed these windswept vines on the Italian riveria since 1930, crafting a wine that tastes like top-class Chablis, but captures the pure essence of the Mediterranean.
The century-old vines lend to spicy aromatics layered with wild herbs, flowers, and marine breeze. Underneath lies hints of crispy lemon, ripe pear and honeydew melon. In the glass, it’s lean, bracing, and tangy—just what you want when digging into a plate of fried calamari.
Organic farming practices, hand-harvested
Domaine de la Villaudiere is a family-owned winery located in Sancerre, the historic land of Sauvignon Blanc. This wine is classic, crisp and the perfect wine to pair with goat cheese, fish, and fresh veggies.
Certified sustainable farming practices and only 1,000 cases produced annually.
Sancerre is the “spiritual home” of Sauvignon Blanc. It’s considered to be the purest expression of Sauvignon Blanc on the planet and a wine we love for its versatility when it comes to food. It pairs well with light green salads and Crottin de Chavignol goat cheese of course, but Sancerre comes to life alongside vibrant fish dishes like seafood thai curry.
This wine comes from 25+ year old vines that are sustainably farmed in clay-limestone and chalk soils. It’s vinified in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness.
This wine comes from the prestigious hill of Montosoli and 2010 is widely regarded as one of the best Brunello vintages, with perfect growing conditions resulting in wines of great structure, depth, and aging potential. It is drinking really beautifully right now. No need to decant, just open 30 minutes before enjoying.
Organic farming practices, hand-harvested and 250 cases produced on average only in exceptional years.
