It’s rare that you come across an up-and-coming producer from a region as historic and notable as Piedmonte. Nevertheless, it does happen, and when it does it FIRES US UP. This wine is medium-bodied with light, soft tannins so it pairs well with just about any Italian dish. There’s a reason why this is what the locals drink.
Organic farming practices, hand-harvested and only 600 cases produced!
This Cab is grown on a west-facing slope, above the fog line, on the northern ridge of the Atlas Peak AVA. The palate is dense and complex, marked by a long and polished finish. All we can say is, there’s a reason this graces the wine list at the French Laundry.
Organic farming practices, unfined/unfiltered, vegan-friendly, and only 1,000 cases produced.
Magnums = double the size, double the fun.
This Chardonnay is lean, mean, and completely jumps out of the glass. Medium bodied and refreshing, the wine’s 12 months of aging in oak barrels (24% new) adds the perfect amount of body weight to this well-balanced bottle.
Organic farming practices, native yeast fermentation, unfined/unfiltered and only 600 cases produced.
You’ve gone from shrubland to woodland to highland. When you stop to sip on a Chief Peak, the piney hops are first to arrive. The tropical tones of passion fruit, orange, and gooseberry aren’t far behind. Look out on the valley and trace the contours of the mountain. Breathe in the thinning air, wipe the sweat from your brow, and take another well-earned sip.
