2023 Donnhoff Nahe Weissburgunder “S”
With Burgundy prices becoming more and more out of reach, I’m having fun finding high quality hidden gems that simply outperform their price tag. It’s refreshing!
This is straight up the best bottle of Pinot Blanc I’ve had. The “S-class” indicates that the wine was made from the highest quality grapes, from the families best vineyard sites.

Flamingo Estate Fridays From the Garden Cookbook
With stories by Richard Christiansen, a foreword by Martha Stewart, and recipes from local chefs, Fridays From the Garden is a collection of over 150 recipes from a year spent at Flamingo Estate. It’s a cookbook, but it’s more than that, too. This is the story of a house that became a brand and a brand that became a rallying cry for regenerative farming and Pleasure from the Garden.
Culled from the best-of-the-best recipes that were tucked into each Friday’s Regenerative Farm Box, this book is a testament to a new-found connection to the natural world at a time we needed it most. It’s a monument to the pleasures of the Flamingo Estate garden, the people that keep it buzzing, and the myriad ways Mother Nature takes care of us when we take care of her.

2022 Daniel Bouland Cote de Brouilly ‘Cuvée Mélanie’ Beaujolais
Margaux has been looking for this wine since 2019 when she first discovered it at Chez Panisse. The old vine cuvée sang alongside roasted duck, green olives and celery root remoulade.
Thankfully the wine is still brilliant — On the palate it’s medium-bodied, vibrant and complex, with a beautiful core of fruit and smooth texture. This is one of the most exciting wines we have included in the club shipments all year!

2022 Raventós i Blanc Conca del Riu Anoia Brut Rosé ‘de Nit’
There’s a long story behind the fact that one of the very best Cava producers doesn’t label their wine “Cava.” Don’t worry about it. The wine here is stunning, salty and pure and very long and refreshing and while distinctly “Cava,” very much grower-Champagne quality.
Certified organic & practicing biodynamic farming, hand-harvested, dry-farmed, native yeast fermentation, and 18-month sur-lie aging before disgorgement.

2022 Pierre Riffault ‘7 Hommes’ Sancerre (half-bottle)
Sancerre is the “spiritual home” of Sauvignon Blanc. It’s considered to be the purest expression of Sauvignon Blanc on the planet and a wine we love for its versatility when it comes to food. It pairs well with light green salads and Crottin de Chavignol goat cheese of course, but Sancerre comes to life alongside vibrant fish dishes like seafood thai curry.
This wine comes from 25+ year old vines that are sustainably farmed in clay-limestone and chalk soils. It’s vinified in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness.
