2017 Young Inglewood VENN Skin Contact Sauvignon Blanc
This fun ORANGE wine is made by mother-and-son winemakers Jacky and Scott Young. It’s produced from 100% Sauvignon Blanc that macerates on the skins. The palate keeps you coming back for more – this ain’t your average skin contact wine! Sustainable farming practices, native yeasts, and only 68 cases produced.
Skin-contact / orange wines fall all over the flavor profile spectrum. Their color and grippy texture depends on how long the juice stays in contact with the skins.

Here’s to you!
VENN Wine Co. was established in 2013 by mother & son winemakers Jacky and Scott Young. The seed for our mission was drawn from a question: how do classic, old world techniques influence our modern notion of wine growing? That question simmered for many years as we quietly worked through our ideas, offering our wines only to favorite restaurants, wine bars and bottle shops. At last, a complete lineup is available to all for the first time in 2021.
“Our family has always shared a love of wine. Today, we produce a small portfolio of Napa grown, Bordeaux-inspired wines from our estate vineyard, Scott and Jacky working together on the winemaking, Mary and Jim in winery operations. We live and work onsite, hand-crafting our limited production wines for balance and elegance, and welcoming guests to the Napa gem that is Young Inglewood. We look forward to raising a glass with you soon.”
