2019 Damilano Barbera d’Asti DOCG
This is our ‘gaux-to casual pizza night wine. If you are not sure where to start with Italian wine, Barbera is a friendly introduction. It’s juicy and incredibly drinkable with nice acidity and low tannins.
Sustainable farming practices & less than 6,000 cases produced.
Damilano is one of few traditional, ancient, ultra-centenary Barolo wine makers.
In fact, the Damilano family has been active since 1890 when Giuseppe Borgogno, the great-grandfather of the current owners, started farming and making wine from the family-owned vineyard in Barolo (Cuneo), the town in the Langhe area that the homonymous wine was named after; a beautiful and generous land that has been the heart of the vocation to produce the “king of wines” for centuries.
It wasn’t until the following generation, though, that Giacomo Damilano, the founder’s son-in-law, gave the current name to the winery. It was he who gave the stimulus to preserve the vines and apply constant innovation in the quality of the winemaking process, making the winery become a “jewel” to proudly pass on to his nephews, who manage the company since 1997.
Guido, Mario, and Paolo Damilano have been capable of giving new lymph and push to the family company, particularly giving value to the prince grape of the Langhe, the Nebbiolo, and specific terroirs, the Cannubi above all.

2019 Domaine Alain Burguet Gevrey-Chambertin ‘Les Champeaux’ Premier Cru
This wine is for a Pinot Noir oenophile.
The ‘Les Champeaux’ premier cru vineyard was planted in 1987 on the northern edge of Gevrey-Chambertin. It’s located high up on the slope with south-east facing exposure which allows for slow and steady ripening. The result is a wine with great purity, structure and incredibly silky tannins.
Biodynamic farming practices, hand-harvested, native yeast fermentation, unfined/unfiltered, vegan-friendly, and only 75 cases produced.

2021 Piro Points West Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir
This is our staple Pinot Noir. It’s a wonderful example of cool climate Pinot Noir from the central coast. It’s light and bright with a purity of fruit that makes it go down way too easy. Pair this with white meat, grilled fish, pizza, and so on. The balanced profile of this wine makes it extremely versatile.
Sustainable farming practices and only 150 cases produced.

2020 Domaine Rougeot Père et Fils Volnay-Santenots Premier Cru
2020 was a great year for Burgundy in terms of quality, but not quantity. Yields were low and stock is hard to come by. Get it while to can, especially since the following vintage, 2021, was a catastrophe.
Organic and biodynamic farming practices, hand-harvested, native yeast fermentation, unfined/unfiltered.
