$42.00The gorgeous 2016 Chateau Linot Saint-Estephe is a Cab-heavy, Left Bank red that comes from a TINY .4 hectare vineyard that used to be part of the famous “super second” Cos d’Estournel.
This estate is the SMALLEST IN THE LEFT BANK region of Bordeaux! This parcel is literally sandwiched between Cos d’Estournel and Cos Labory on the famous Cos plateau.
70% Cabernet and 30% Merlot with most of the vines now older than 40 years. Only 4,000 bottles produced. Organic farming practices.

Notes of lychee, golden apple, and Meyer lemon are perfectly complimented with brioche, toasted coconut, and hazelnut on the nose. The Chardonnay is rich, concentrated, and texturally expansive in the mouth with a bright streak of acidity and a saline minerality that keeps the wine restrained and refined.

$100.00The 2021 Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir is a wine of elegance and nuance. Blueberry, black cherry and rich red fruit dominate the nose with subtle notes of rose petal, baking spices and clove beautifully woven together giving the wine layer upon layer of complexity. The bright fruit leads to a rich and full mid-palate, ripe tannins, ample acidity and a lengthy finish.

2022 Daniel Bouland Cote de Brouilly ‘Cuvée Mélanie’ Beaujolais
$45.00Margaux has been looking for this wine since 2019 when she first discovered it at Chez Panisse. The old vine cuvée sang alongside roasted duck, green olives and celery root remoulade.
Thankfully the wine is still brilliant — On the palate it’s medium-bodied, vibrant and complex, with a beautiful core of fruit and smooth texture. This is one of the most exciting wines we have included in the club shipments all year!

2019 Portelli Cerasuolo di Vittoria
$25.00We’re not sure if yummy is an official tasting note, but that’s what this wine is. The 2019 is a bright and energetic vintage; velvety and fresh. The blend of Frappato and Calabrese is a perfect marriage, balanced and complete. There is enough vibrance and freshness to drink well on its own, but just enough tannin and acid to be versatile at table.

Organic agriculture certified by Ecocert and in Biodynamics certified by Biodyvin. Hand-harvesting minimal interventon. Vinified in concrete vats. Aged 12 months on the fine lees in 50% 6-7 yr old barrels and 50% concrete vats.

2023 Raul Perez Atalier “A Cruz das Animas” Rias Baixas Albariño
$44.00Atalier is the exciting new Rías Baixas Albariño project from the redoubtable Raúl Pérez, and this wine is nothing short of explosive. It leaps out of the glass with aromas of oyster shell and etherized granite and follows through with a palate rich in marine-inflected yellow and green fruits and sporting a powerful surge of acidity.
Fermented and aged in large, neutral French oak foudres. The oxygenation that occurs during this élevage gives the wine a softer, rounder entry that balances out the razor-sharp acidity. Biodynamic and organic.

2022 Pierre Riffault ‘7 Hommes’ Sancerre (half-bottle)
$26.00Sancerre is the “spiritual home” of Sauvignon Blanc. It’s considered to be the purest expression of Sauvignon Blanc on the planet and a wine we love for its versatility when it comes to food. It pairs well with light green salads and Crottin de Chavignol goat cheese of course, but Sancerre comes to life alongside vibrant fish dishes like seafood thai curry.
This wine comes from 25+ year old vines that are sustainably farmed in clay-limestone and chalk soils. It’s vinified in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness.

2021 Domaine Pinson Frères Chablis ‘Les Clos’ Grand Cru
$125.00For those who love Chablis, you know that ‘Les Clos’ is the emblematic, top Grand Cru of Chablis. The 50+ year old vines sit on a steep slope and enjoy the perfect sun exposure which provides ideal ripening conditions. 2021 for Chablis is adamantly old-school in its tension and inscrutably mineral depths. If you had to describe the vintage in one word it would be ‘aristocratic.’
