André & Michel Quenard is a family-owned winery located in the picturesque Savoie region of France, nestled in the western Alps. The Quenard family’s winemaking tradition dates back to the 17th century, with the current estate established in 1976. Today, Michel Quenard, along with his son Guillaume, manages approximately 22 hectares of vineyards on the steep, rocky slopes of the Coteau de Torméry near Chignin. Committed to sustainable viticulture, they practice biodynamic farming, minimizing chemical interventions and working in harmony with nature to enhance soil health and vineyard biodiversity. Specializing in indigenous grape varieties like Jacquère, Roussanne (Bergeron), and Mondeuse, their wines are known for their freshness, minerality, and alpine elegance. Notable offerings include Chignin-Bergeron “Les Terrasses” and Crémant de Savoie Brut Nature. The winery remains dedicated to traditional techniques, producing wines that authentically reflect the unique terroir of Savoie.
