This full-bodied blend is a classic representation of Bordeaux: subtle, seamless, and elegant. It has a smooth texture and is the perfect wine for a California Cab or red blend lover.
Certified sustainable farming practices and about 6,000 cases produced annually.
This rustic Pinot Noir hails from a premier cru climat just west of Gevrey-Chambertin. The palate is medium-bodied with rich and concentrated flavors, nice acidity, and integrated tannins. Aged for 19 months in barrel (50% new oak). Only 50 cases produced.
Like all of Burguet’s wines, this bottle is produced from organic (converting to biodynamic) fruit, native yeasts, and is bottled unfined / unfiltered.
When we say this is a “Tuesday night” wine, what we really mean is that this bottle is perfect for popping and sipping on the fly any day of the week. It’s lively, fresh, and noted with a subtle earthiness. Best served slightly chilled.
Sustainable farming practices, native yeast fermentation, minimal sulfur added and only 5,000 cases produced.
The ‘Les Champeaux’ premier cru vineyard was planted in 1987 on the northern edge of Gevrey-Chambertin. It’s located high up on the slope with south-east facing exposure which allows for slow and steady ripening. The result is a wine with great purity, structure and incredibly silky tannins.
Biodynamic farming practices, hand-harvested, native yeast fermentation, unfined/unfiltered, vegan-friendly, and only 75 cases produced.
