This unique wine is produced from 100% Mourvèdre grown in a single vineyard in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The wine’s structure, bright acid, and well-integrated tannins make it a great addition to any cellar. Produced from organically-farmed, hand-harvested fruit.
Only 46 cases of this ageworthy stunner were produced! Grab it now and revisit in 5-10 years for an out-of-this-world tasting experience.
This wine is produced from 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah cultivated on the slopes of the Dentelles de Montmirail mountains just above the village of Gigondas in the Southern Rhône Valley. Organic farming practices, hand-harvested, and only 208 cases produced. This is one of Margaux’s (co-founder) favorite producers.
Grenache and Syrah (along with Mourvèdre) are generally the main grape varieties found in southern Rhône Valley red blends.
“Aromas of menthol flint crushed herb leather and a balsamic note come together in the glass. Smooth and vibrant the elegant palate delivers dried cherry strawberry star anise pipe tobacco and mineral framed in polished tannins and bright acidity. Hold for even more complexity. Drink 2017–2027.” – WE, 93pts.
This Beaujolais-inspired Gamay is made via carbonic maceration, which gives the wine bright, fruit-forward notes and creates a soft, delicate palate.
Organic farming practices, native yeast fermentation, and no fining or filtering. Best served chilled!
