2018 Domaine Alain Burguet Chambertin ‘Clos de Bèze’ Grand Cru
If you know, you know. ‘Clos de Bèze’ is the most prestigious and sought-after Grand Crus in Gevrey-Chambertin. For collectors, this wine is a great investment. It will only continue to appreciate in value as it ages over the next 10-20 years.
Practicing organic viticulture, hand-harvested, native yeast fermentation, unfined/unfiltered and only 100 cases produced.
2021 Railsback Frères ‘Les Rascasses’ Rosé
Lyle and Eric Railsback began making wine together as Railsback Frères to produce rosé, inspired by Lulu Peyraud and the old style of Bandol rosé. This wine pays homage to Lulu Peyraud of Domaine Tempier and her infamous bouillabaisse recipe. If you aren’t going to make bouillabaisse, enjoy this with ceviche, summer squash pasta, or our Herbed Goat Cheese & Caramelized Onion Galette.
Organic farming practices, hand-harvested, direct-to-press, native yeast fermentation, aged in neutral French oak barrels for 6 months, no fining or heavy filteration, only 2,400 cases produced.
This distinctly Mediterranean-style vermouth was developed by Raffaele Bellomi for his cocktail bar in Verona called, Bar Archivo. He was inspired by aromas he grew up with like the thyme and licorice plants his grandmother grew on her balcony. It’s more herbal than traditional vermouths which make it incredibly versatile.
The Americano Recipe (Argaux Fav)
Equal parts Volume Primo vermouth and your favorite bitter over ice. Mix well, top with soda and garnish with a lemon/orange slice and zest.
2022 Robert Biale “Black Chicken” Zinfandel Napa Valley (half-bottle)
Showing the influence of the breezy and fog-laced Oak Knoll District, this wine offers plush fruit with delicate acidity, and a structure defined by well-ripened, fine-grained tannins. Layered notes of blackberry preserves, stewed cherries, ripe plums, raspberries, violet, cocoa, and spiced wood. Persistent and full on the palate, this is an expressive Zinfandel that is drinking beautifully now, but will continue to improve for the next 5-7 years.
Certified sustainable farming practices. Family-owned winery. Dry-farmed vines and hand-harvested.
