The Grasso family, owners of Ca’ del Baio winery in Treiso, Piedmont, have a rich history in winemaking dating back to the late 1800s. For four generations, they have meticulously cultivated their vineyards, producing high-quality Barbaresco wines. The estate spans over 25 hectares, producing wines that embody the rich terroir of the region.
Known for their commitment to sustainable farming and traditional methods, the Grasso family has earned a reputation for excellence in the wine industry. The winery practices sustainable farming, prioritizing environmental stewardship and biodiversity. They avoid chemical herbicides, instead using organic fertilizers and natural pest control methods. The vineyard management includes careful canopy management to ensure optimal grape ripening and hand-harvesting to select the best grapes.
