Alain Graillot single-handedly put Crozes-Hermitage on the world map; his family’s domaine is now one of the most sought-after in the Northern Rhône. We poured this old-vine gem at a Syrah tasting and it blew every other wine out of the water. It stands up to the unicorn reputation and is a must-try for Syrah lovers.
Organic farming practices, hand-harvested, whole-cluster fermentation (no destemming) in lined concrete vats. Aged for 1 year in mostly neutral oak and lightly filtered but unfined.
