The 2023 Mullineux Kloof Street Old Vine Chenin Blanc is a highly acclaimed, value-driven South African white wine crafted by winemakers Chris and Andrea Mullineux in the Swartland region. Sourced from dry-farmed, bush-trained vines older than 40 years, this Chenin Blanc offers a vibrant, measured acidity that meets a soft and gently waxy texture. The palate then moves into a crisp, savory, and mineral-driven finish. It is a great representation of an accessible, early-drinking label that truly showcases the region’s unique terroirs.
Sustainable farming; Hand-harvested; Whole-bunch pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts over a six-week period; 85% of the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks, while 15% is aged in older French oak barrels.
