Sorelle Bronca is a family-run winery in the heart of Italy’s Prosecco region, founded in the 1980s by sisters Antonella and Ersiliana Bronca. Inspired by their father Livio’s passion for viticulture, they transformed the estate into a beacon of biodiversity. From the beginning, the sisters have committed themselves to organic farming and environmental stewardship. Their vineyards teem with life—wildflowers, insects, and birds abound—highlighting their commitment to maintaining a healthy ecosystem.
The Glera vines, originally planted in 1970, grow on steep hillsides at elevations of 500 to 800 feet above sea level. Meticulous hand-harvesting and low-yield farming practices ensure that only the finest grapes are selected. In the cellar, the Bronca sisters embrace a minimal-intervention approach, letting the purity of the Glera grape take center stage. They rely on traditional techniques—such as controlled low-temperature fermentation and extended lees aging—to craft Proseccos that are refined, vibrant, and deeply expressive of their terroir.
