2021 Brezza Giacomo e Figli Barolo DOCG
It’s textbook Barolo; These are some of the best Barolos being made year after year and the 2021 vintage was a landmark year drawing comparisons to the legendary 1985 and 2016 vintages. Thanks to a near-perfect growing season, the wines are a modern benchmark, being described as “the proverbial iron fist in a velvet glove” by Antonio Galloni.
Certified organic farming practices, hand-harvested, native yeast fermentation, aged for two years in Slavonian oak barrels and one year in bottle before release. Only 1,000 cases produced.
