Despite his quiet and humble demeanor, Arnaud Lambert is one of the driving forces of the Loire Valley today. Arnaud joined his father at Domaine Saint-Just in 2005, and four years later, the pair took on managerial roles at the famed Château de Brézé estate. Across his various estates, Arnaud is pioneering organic and site-specific viticulture across numerous sites in the Loire Valley, including the ‘grand cru’ areas of Brézé, Saint-Cyr , and beyond.
In addition to putting benchmark growing areas on the map, Arnaud is equally becoming a key figure in large-scale biodynamic farming in the region. All wines produced at his hands are pure, precise, and are bottled with the tiniest amounts of SO2, so as to let the regions and their fruit speak clearly through the wines. Whether Cabernet Franc or Chenin Blanc-based, Arnaud’s wines are bright, energetic, and laden with ample amounts of natural acidity – perfect for drinking now, laying down, or both.
Chenin Blanc is known for producing wines with rich, honeyed flavor profiles (even when dry), yet retains ample amounts of ripping acidity – think of this wine like the best of both worlds.
