  • 2022 Cantine Carlo Mazzella Ischia Biancolella

Sancerre, Gruner Veltliner, Vermentino lovers – This one’s for you. Grown on the volcanic island of Ischia, this wine quite literally tastes like the azure waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Our director of imports enjoyed this wine for the first time with a large bowl of pasta alla vongole after an ocean dip. “The salty sea still lingering on my lips and this light, crisp wine on that hot day was unparalleled.”

Organic farming practices, hand-harvested, native yeast fermentation, minimal intervention winemaking and only 400 cases produced.

  • 2020 Château de Montfrin Cotes du Rhone ‘A La Reverie’ Rouge

“A la reverie” means “in a dream state,” which is the perfect way to describe how we felt the first time we tried this wine with Jean-René. Sure he charmed us with truffle pasta, but the the dreamiest thing about this wine is its ability to hold its own next to strong dishes without feeling heavy. The Syrah gives it oomph while the Grenache weaves it all together with a soft, silky ribbon.

Certified organic farming practices, native yeast fermentation, and only 1,400 cases produced.

  • 2020 Wonderland Project No. 9 Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon

This Cab is grown on a west-facing slope, above the fog line, on the northern ridge of the Atlas Peak AVA. The palate is dense and complex, marked by a long and polished finish. All we can say is, there’s a reason this graces the wine list at the French Laundry.

    Team Argaux Favorite

2020 Domaine De Oliveira Lecestre Petit Chablis

Sustainable farming practices (Lutte Raisonnée), native yeast fermentation, and fermented in stainless steel tanks to reflect the perfect typicity of Chablis.
