    2020 Edaphos Alder Springs Petite Arvine

    THE FIND OF ALL TIME!

    100% Petite Arvine from the Alder Springs Vineyard in Northern California. Petite Arvine is a rare grape for California, it originally hails from the Valais region in the Swiss Alps.

    Brilliant pale white gold in color with fresh, bright aromas of chamomile and jasmine to dried apricots and apple chips. Silky texture with pronounced acidity balances out with white flower and orchard fruit flavors. 

    Organic/biodynamic farming practices, hand-harvested, native yeast fermentation & only 200 cases produced. 

    This will be at our Thanksgiving tables! It’s great with fish, but it also stands up nicely to white meat and hearty sides like stuffing and Garlic Mashed Potatoes.

    This is Rougeot’s most structured, powerhouse wine that will age gracefully for decades. This wine spent 18 months in barrel (35% new). Produced using organic/biodynamic farming practices, hand-harvested, native yeast fermentation, no added sulfur, and bottled unfined / unfiltered.

    Volnay ‘Les Santenots’ is technically located in the village of Meursault, though vignerons discovered long ago that there is a larger demand for Volnay than Meursault Rouge and wisely arranged to label reds from their northernmost vineyards as Volnay.

  • 2018 Domaine Rougeot Père et Fils Meursault-Charmes Premier Cru

    Sourced from one of the emblematic vineyards of Meursault ‘Les Charmes,’ this is a rich, powerful, and aromatic wine. The vineyard is very well tendered and delivers beautiful grapes, caviar like in size, even in challenging weather conditions. After eighteen months of maturation without battonage, the wine is bottled.

    Fruit in the ‘Les Charmes’ climat grows on limestone and marl soil with ideal exposure to the morning sun.

    Old vines tend to yield smaller amounts of high-quality, concentrated fruit.
