Gran Reserva Riojas are only produced in the best years and 2016 was excellent – widely considered one of the best in recent history. This wine is lights out and drinking like velvet right now.
Organic farming practices, with certain selective biodynamic practices, hand-harvested, native yeast fermentation, malolactic fermentation in barrel. Aged for 26 months in oak barrels (25% is new oak).

Like all of Burguet’s wines, this bottle is produced from organic (converting to biodynamic) fruit, native yeasts, and is bottled unfined / unfiltered. Only 50 cases produced.
