  • 2020 Ottomani Tuscan Extra-Virgin Olive Oil

This olive oil is from Impruneta & Greve in Chianti, an area just 9 miles south of Florence and traditionally known as the best region for Tuscan olive oil production.

It is a blend of 40% Moraiolo, 40% Frantoio, 15% Leccino, 5% Coreggiolo, which are all native Tuscan varieties. The olives are hand harvested in small baskets and pressed off within 12 hours of being picked. Cold extraction is used and extremely minimal oxygen is introduced to preserve its aromatics and concentration of flavor.

As with the wines we tend to gravitate towards, this artisanal olive oil was produced from organic/biodynamically-farmed olive groves.
