2020 Château de Montfrin Cotes du Rhone ‘A La Reverie’ Rouge
$28.00“A la reverie” means “in a dream state,” which is the perfect way to describe how we felt the first time we tried this wine with Jean-René. Sure he charmed us with truffle pasta, but the the dreamiest thing about this wine is its ability to hold its own next to strong dishes without feeling heavy. The Syrah gives it oomph while the Grenache weaves it all together with a soft, silky ribbon.

2021 Domaine de Oliveira Lecestre Petit Chablis (half-bottle)

2019 Domaine Alain Burguet Gevrey-Chambertin ‘Les Champeaux’ Premier Cru

The ‘Les Champeaux’ premier cru vineyard was planted in 1987 on the northern edge of Gevrey-Chambertin. It’s located high up on the slope with south-east facing exposure which allows for slow and steady ripening. The result is a wine with great purity, structure and incredibly silky tannins.
