Successors to a long line of winemakers, Jean-Paul and Magali BALLAND have, for 40 years, patiently developed the family estate.
Their two daughters, Isabelle and Elise, now cultivate 24 hectares of Sancerre appellation (20 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc – 4 hectares of Pinot Noir).
The estate remains family-run. Jean-Paul remains as passionate as ever, and he has just finished training Julien, Isabelle’s husband, to manage the vineyard.
