2023 Domaine Labbe Vin de Savoie Blanc ‘Abymes’

Responsibly Farmed
Hidden Gem
Classic in Style

Cousins Alexandra and Jérôme Labbé make some of the best French Alpine wine you can get. From the tiny Savoie region near Lake Geneva, production is barely enough to meet the demands of the winter skiers making bottles like this especially rare to come by. This refreshing white is beautifully expressive of its mountain terroir and pairs well with goat cheese, lemon herb chicken or fresh fish.

Certified Sustainable HVE3, stainless steel fermentation and aged on the lees for 6 months, only 500 cases produced annually.

Domaine Labbe Vin de Savoie Abymes comes from Domaine Labbé, a small family-run estate founded in 1975 in the foothills of the French Alps near Chambéry. The cousins Alexandra and Jérôme Labbe now steward the 10 ha of vineyards nestled in the historic Abymes cru — one of the named terroirs within the Vin de Savoie appellation known for its broken limestone and gravel soils — and focus on sustainable farming and native yeast fermentations to showcase the local Jacquère grape. The wines are bright, mineral-driven expressions of Savoie’s cool mountain climate, delivering lively acidity and pure Alpine character that pair beautifully with seafood and regional cuisine.
