Think of it as Barolo’s easygoing cousin: serious enough for the table, but approachable enough to open on a weeknight.

Pasquale Pelissero is a small, family-run estate based in the village of Neive in Piedmont’s Langhe hills. Founded in the late 1960s, the winery began when Pasquale Pelissero started bottling wines from his family vineyards rather than selling the fruit to local cooperatives – a bold move at the time. Today the estate is run by his daughter Ornella Pelissero, who continues the family’s commitment to traditional Langhe winemaking, sustainable vineyard practices, and small-production wines that highlight the elegance and perfume of Nebbiolo.
