  • NV Delavenne Champagne Père & Fils Cuvée ‘Dom Basle’ Brut Reserve Grand Cru

Named Dom Basle in homage to the great figure in the history of Champagne and the Montagne de Reims, the Cuvée Dom Basle – Brut Réserve is the great classic of Maison Delavenne.

This well-balanced Champagne combines finesse, regular fruitiness and consistency over time. Clear color with golden reflections. Notes of white dried fruits. A seductive roundness, a freshness associated with finesse. Can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with a meal.

Organic/biodynamic farming practices, native yeast fermentation, and less than 2,000 cases produced annually.

  • 2022 Jean Collet & Fils Saint-Bris Sauvignon

A wine with a light gold color, its liveliness reveals notes of citrus and peach with expressive fresh herbs and white flowers. The mouthfeel is generously textured and lends a tender, fruity palate with a spicy yet beautiful mineral finish. Aging is done in old French oak barrels to add a touch of roundness to soften the wine’s naturally striking acidity.

This version of Saint-Bris at Domaine Jean Collet follows suit with the Chablis range, characterized with an increased level of suppleness, compared to what is typically found with Saint-Bris wines.

Sustainable farming practices, hand-harvested, native yeast fermentation.

  • NV Champagne Delavenne Père & Fils Brut Tradition Grand Cru

This Brut Tradition Grand Cru is the heart and soul of what the Delavenne’s do. Jean-Christophe describes this wine as the “embodiment of the Delavenne house tradition,” and we couldn’t think of a better bottle to elevate any dinner party, weeknight happy hour, or gathering amongst close friends.

Organic/biodynamic farming practices, native yeast fermentation, and less than 2,000 cases produced annually.

  • 2024 Adega A Coroa Valdeorras ‘A Coroa’ Godello

Bright and expressive, this Godello opens with aromas of white flowers, wild herbs, and a hint of smoky minerality. The palate is fresh and textured, unfolding layers of white peach, salted grapefruit, and a whisper of anise. Balanced acidity and a subtle bitterness on the finish mark it as a classic expression of this rare varietal that graces the Iberian peninsula.

Pair with: Grilled shrimp in a citrus-herb marinade with toasted hazelnuts, or roasted turkey with peach-fennel stuffing and creamy polenta to echo the wine’s vibrant fruit and savory undertones.

  • 2022 Bachelet-Monnot Maranges ‘La Fussiere’ Blanc Premier Cru

Fruit for this 1er cru White Burgundy comes from the highest vineyard site in Maranges (avg. 30 years in age). This is a sneaky premier cru that I think would keep an eye on. It may be the best valued Burgundy on the market.

Organic farming practices, hand-harvested, native yeast fermentation and aged for 12 months in barrel.

  • 2022 Stark-Condé Jonkershoek Valley Stellenbosch Field Blend

This insanely fun wine comes from a single-vineyard that was co-planted intentionally to create this wine. It’s rich and structured, yet delicate and refined. If South African wine is not on your radar, it’s time to pop the cork and get your head in the game.

Organic farming practices, family-owned, co-fermented with native yeasts, aged on the lees for 9 months, unfined/unfiltered and only 1,000 cases produced.

NV Pascal Mazet Champagne ‘Unique’ Brut Premier Cru

This is an incredible grower Champagne from Pascal and Catherine Mazet. 60% of this wine is from the 2014 vintage as they age their wines for a minimum 5 years before release. It has depth, complexity and elegance – I am as completely smitten with this bottle of bottles.

Certified organic farming practices with a focus on soil biodiversity, native yeast fermentation, maturation in oak barrels and sur lie aging for 7 years.

  • 2023 Raul Perez Atalier “A Cruz das Animas” Rias Baixas Albariño

Atalier is the exciting new Rías Baixas Albariño project from the redoubtable Raúl Pérez, and this wine is nothing short of explosive. It leaps out of the glass with aromas of oyster shell and etherized granite and follows through with a palate rich in marine-inflected yellow and green fruits and sporting a powerful surge of acidity.

Fermented and aged in large, neutral French oak foudres. The oxygenation that occurs during this élevage gives the wine a softer, rounder entry that balances out the razor-sharp acidity. Biodynamic and organic.

    $44.00

Enough said. It is a must-try.
