2023 Hirsch Vineyards ‘Family Blend’ Estate Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
The “Family Blend” is a true snapshot of the estate and a deeply personal wine, made by Jasmine and her father, David. It brings together their favorite parts of the vineyard and reflects Jasmine’s philosophy that “wine should make you happy.”
Great with roast chicken, cedar plank salmon, or an earthy farro salad – but equally perfect on its own. It doesn’t even need food, it’s simply delicious.

David Hirsch is one of the greatest pioneers of Sonoma’s viticultural scene. He first began planting vines near Fort Ross back in 1980, far before the Sonoma Coast boasted the reputation that it has today. Dave realized the undeniable potential for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay early on, and for many years, planned to sell his fruit to local winemakers (including the likes of Williams-Selyem, Littorai, and beyond).
Today, Dave’s forward thinking has most certainly paid off. Almost all of the family’s fruit is estate bottled, much of which is crafted into site-specific, single-vineyard wines. Countless talented winemakers have called Hirsch home, including Ross Cobb and Vanessa Wont. As of 2017, Dave’s daughter Jasmine has since assumed the prestigious winemaker role – and the wines have soared to unbelievable new heights. For Old World-inspired wines that are undeniably coastal California, look no further than these textured, meticulously crafted wines.
