2021 Pedro Parra y Familia ‘Imaginador’ Cinsault Itata Valley
Pedro Parra, aka Dr. Terroir (literally has a PHD in terroir), is the world’s leading ‘geologist of wine.’ When he’s not consulting for the very best producers in marquee wine regions, Parra is making old-vine cinsault 300 miles south of Santiago. Although light in weight, this wine offers a punch flavor and compelling structure. Enjoy with lamb, game, cured meats, or earthy stews.

2021 Domaine Santa Duc Châteauneuf-du-Pape ‘Les Saintes Vierges’
This single-vineyard wine comes from 70-year-old vines, co-planted by the legendary 6th-generation winemaker, Yves Gras. Domaine Santa Duc has been one of the top producers in the region for years, and this wine is a great example of why. If you’re a points person, it received 93-95 points across the board.
Ecocert-certified organic and Demeter-certified biodynamic, hand-harvested, unfined/unfltered and aged for 18 months in Stockinger foudres (the Rolls-Royce of oak).

Fruit for this 1er cru White Burgundy comes from the highest vineyard site in Maranges (avg. 30 years in age). This is a sneaky premier cru that I think would keep an eye on. It may be the best valued Burgundy on the market.

2023 Ciro Picariello ‘BruEmm’ Falanghina
Just a joy to drink. This single-vineyard bottling of Falanghina reminds me why I love this winemaker and why Campania is my favorite region in Italy. It was made for food and just makes me want to have a dinner party.

2022 Stark-Condé Jonkershoek Valley Stellenbosch Field Blend
This insanely fun wine comes from a single-vineyard that was co-planted intentionally to create this wine. It’s rich and structured, yet delicate and refined. If South African wine is not on your radar, it’s time to pop the cork and get your head in the game.

This is an incredible grower Champagne from Pascal and Catherine Mazet. 60% of this wine is from the 2014 vintage as they age their wines for a minimum 5 years before release. It has depth, complexity and elegance – I am as completely smitten with this bottle of bottles.

2021 Walson Holland Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
The 2021 Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir is a wine of elegance and nuance. Blueberry, black cherry and rich red fruit dominate the nose with subtle notes of rose petal, baking spices and clove beautifully woven together giving the wine layer upon layer of complexity. The bright fruit leads to a rich and full mid-palate, ripe tannins, ample acidity and a lengthy finish.
Whole cluster. Raised 22 months on the lees in French oak barrels, 30% new oak. Unfined and Unfiltered. 150 cases produced.

Evening Land Vineyards is the Oregon-based brainchild of Sashi Moorman and Raj Parr, two of California’s most revered winemakers and sommeliers.
