This vintage is noted for being “fine-boned” and elegant, showcasing a move toward increased freshness and precision compared to previous years.
Bodega Cerrón is widely regarded as a pioneer in sustainable viticulture in Spain, specifically within the Jumilla region. Their farming practices are built on a philosophy of minimal intervention and deep respect for the land’s history. The estate was among the first in Spain to be certified organic in 1989. They have since fully embraced biodynamic viticulture and are certified by Demeter (as of 2021).
