This wine comes from 50-year-old vines grown in 30cm of soil before hitting pure chalk. The vineyard sits at 300m altitude, the highest altitude section of Folatieres, just beneath La Truffière.
This wine is incredibly defined with flinty minerality, bright orchard fruits, fresh herbs, and a hint of white flowers. It is medium-bodied with great precision and structure. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of white pepper. Aged for 12 months in barrel + 6 months in tank.
Sustainable farming practices, hand-harvested, and native yeast fermentation.
Try with grilled lobster, yellowtail sashimi, or Pasta al Limone.
